May 18, 2004: Aural Sensations
Oh what a night! Tripped up and tricked
out, the room was hopping, the drinks were flowing and the noises were
out of this world. As the finale to the 'triptich' of shows, the night
showcased the innovation of rhythm and experience. Tim Gallaher sung in
tongues, Neal Morgan surprised all with a performance from the crowd,
and The Drift! brought the whole house down! As DJ Mythyc kept it going
with experimental sets, justino, Kappa, and GroundChuck's laptop and instrumental
sets synthesized and processed sounds into a stunning work of art. Video
works by Tom Thayer and thom poe explored the sounds of video games and
escalators. The edge of Noise and Music came together inside out! More
