May 14, 2004: Charged and Loaded
Set in the best experimental space in the
East Bay, the second Soundwave>Series exploded with sonic effects and
debris. It was an incredibly electric night of sound ideas, messages and
experiments. Works featured alternative sound making techniques and instruments,
innovative noise processes and experiential rhythms, mixes and tones.
Live perfomances included stunning imagery and films featuring justino,
Neal Morgan, Matt Davignon, Night Night (Sacramento) and Kappa (New York
City), and sound pieces by Tom Thayer and Maria Blondeel. More
